Chris Rank
Chris is an award-winning Atlanta photographer whose work has been featured in The New York Times, Sky Magazine, Time and Bloomberg News. A few of His corporate, nonprofit and university clients include Aflac, AT&T, Chick-fil-A, The Coca-Cola Company, Cox, Delta Air Lines, Georgia Tech, IHG, Hilton, and UPS.
A former staff photographer with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Chris worked for Sports Illustrated during the 1996 Olympic Games. He has extensive location photography experience, logging successful shoots across North America, Europe and Asia. He has assisted legendary National Geographic photographer Joe McNally.
In 2007, Chris was honored with a first-place award in documentary photography by the New York Association of Black Journalists. A Paris gallery later offered prints of the award-winning image from the funeral of legendary musician James Brown. Chris holds a Master of Science in photography from Syracuse University, where he was an adjunct graphic design professor. He also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography at the University of Georgia. Chris likes to attempt speaking Spanish.
Aimée Rank
Aimée has a Bachelors in History and a Masters in Education, both from Columbia University. Until marrying Chris, she spent more time teaching social studies to middle schoolers than she did talking about f-stops and shutter speeds.
Aimée handles the behind the scenes operations at Rank Studios and is the point person for administrative questions. Additionally, Aimée is the team member to contact for family and children’s sessions.
Jenn Finch
Jenn graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 and after an internship at the Rio Paralympics in Brazil, she started working for the MLS Soccer team, D.C. United.
In 2019 she returned to Atlanta where she grew up and began freelancing.
She has had work published in the Washington Post, the Seattle Times, the Atlanta Journal Constitution and others.
She spends time with her dog Kai and loves to sit around and wait for refrigerators.
Casey Sykes
Casey has been a member of the Rank Studios team since 2019.
Along with shooting photos himself, Casey also serves as an assistant and editor. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Georgia and lives in nearby Austell with his wife, Abigail.
